Privacy
Your privacy is very important for the Christian Childcare Programme Foundation. That is why we act according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and handle your data carefully.  

Introduction
With good education, the Christian Childcare Programme aims to give children and young people a chance to develop. Our employees, partner organisation, volunteers and sponsors ensure that as many vulnerable children as possible in Uganda can go to school, improve the quality of education and that training is well suited to the labour market. This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of the personal information provided by sponsors, donors, volunteers, participants and relations (hereinafter: personal data), as well as data obtained from visits to and use of the website of Christian Childcare Programme Foundation.  

What happens to my data?
Through various forms on the website of Christian Childcare Programme Foundation, or when you become a sponsor or make a donation, include us in your estate or participate in one of our actions, we may ask you for personal data. The Christian Childcare Programme also does this if you register with us to receive the (e-mail) newsletter, request information, inquire about our activities, ask a question, respond on our website or social media or otherwise contact us. The Christian Childcare Programme Foundation may collect contact information such as name, address, phone number, email address, bank details, transaction details, donations or participation, or information relevant if you contact us. We can also collect information that you share with us via social media, if you like us, participate in an action or contact us.  

Your Personal Data and Third Parties
The Christian Childcare Programme Foundation  never shares your personal data with third parties. We only share your name with our partner organization in Uganda if you sponsor a child there. We ensure that they provide sufficient safeguards in the area of privacy protection and security.

Are my data safe at the Christian Childcare Programme Foundation?
For the protection of your personal data, the Christian Childcare Programme Foundation has taken physical, technical and organisational measures. The Christian Childcare Programme Foundation uses a secure computer that is only accessible to authorized persons. Any information you enter in our online forms will be sent securely. The Christian Childcare Programme Foundation does not engage third parties in the performance of its services, with the exception of the organisation where our website is hosted. A processing agreement has been concluded with this organization in accordance with the GDPR. All our employees are required to protect your Personal Data. Dataleaks If, despite the security measures, a data leak was allowed, this will be reported to the board. Measures to prevent repetition are discussed and taken and those involved are informed. Serious data leaks will be reported to the designated authority in accordance with laws and regulations.          

Cookies
The Christian Childcare Programme Foundation does not use cookies to make its websites more personal and user-friendly. A cookie is a simple small file stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Data Protection Authority
Under privacy law, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority about our processing of personal data. You can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority for this purpose.
